Meet Wilma - Parasitions Head Of Community

You’ve probably seen my name – here’s a bit more about me!

Hey Parasition Family,

This week, I’d love to introduce myself – I’m Wilma!
I’m the Head of Community here at Parasition, which means I work on everything that happens around you as a creator: onboarding, vibes, communication, energy – and of course, our Discord.

I’m also the person behind all the emails landing in your inbox every week – so if you’ve ever wondered who’s writing to you, it’s me 👋

But outside of that, I’m also just a regular person with a full-blown TikTok addiction and a soft spot for anything nostalgic.

WHO AM I - OUTSIDE OF WORK

I’m someone who loves being creative, both on and off the clock. Most evenings you’ll find me out on a walk, editing a TikTok I’ll probably never post, or on a mission to find the best beer in Malmö.

What not everyone knows is that I actually come from a dance background – at my core, I’ve always been a dance girl. I’ve drifted away from it a bit lately, but it’s still a big passion in my life. I love everything about the showbiz world – the lights, the energy, the storytelling.

The photo below is from when I performed in Matilda the Muscial at in Sweden
Can you spot me?

I’m a sucker for warm summer nights, old music videos, and documenting small, random moments that seem like nothing at the time – but somehow mean everything later.

WHAT I DO AS HEAD OF COMMUNITY

In short: I’m here to make sure you feel safe, seen, and inspired.

I make sure you get a smooth start in the community, that you understand how the campaigns work, and that there’s always someone to turn to when you’re unsure.

Even if you’re just quietly lurking in a Discord channel – you’re part of something, and I want you to feel that.

I also work constantly to improve the experience for everyone: simplify things, gather your ideas, and help build what we all want Parasition to become.

I don’t believe in perfection. I believe in growth. And my job is to help you move forward – one step at a time.

3 THINGS I WISH EVERY CREATOR KNEW

You don’t have to be famous to be great.
It’s about creating something that feels, not about having 100k followers.

It’s okay to fail.
Everyone starts somewhere. Even the biggest creators once posted videos that barely got 100 views. If they hadn’t kept going – where would they be now?

You’re not alone.
This community is full of people who are figuring it out, growing, and supporting each other. Just like you.

QUICKFIRE WITH WILMA

-That dance trend to the song “I ain’t got no panties on on the dance flooo…”

Best place to work from?
-A café, headphones in, window seat

What always makes me laugh?

What do I do when I need a break?
-I make something tasty and put on a chill, feel-good show

My superpower in the team?
